Flagler Health is building the clinical operating system for modern musculoskeletal care.

We partner with MSK provider groups and specialty clinics to help them grow, operate more efficiently, and deliver better longitudinal care across patient acquisition, clinical workflows, and ongoing patient engagement. Our platform sits at the intersection of care delivery and clinic operations, helping providers capture more value across the full patient lifecycle.

We’ve recently raised our Series B and are entering our next phase of growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking a nationally certified Medical Assistant to serve in a dual-function role at our AZ facility. You will act as the on-site point of contact for our Medicare 855B site inspection process while supporting our Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) program.

This position is currently 5 days per week, on-site at 200 W Monroe St, 2nd Floor, Phoenix, Arizona 85003. As our clinical program scales and staffing grows, a hybrid schedule (rotating in-office and remote days) will become available. That transition will be communicated in advance with clear expectations.

Physical presence during the 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM window is mandatory. Our facility is subject to unannounced CMS / MAC site inspections as part of a pending 855B application. A missed inspection results in automatic application denial. Punctuality and consistency are non-negotiable in this role.

On-Site Responsibilities

Medicare Site Inspection Compliance

Serve as the sole dedicated physical presence at the facility during all posted operating hours.

Act as the immediate, professional point of contact when a MAC field inspector arrives unannounced.

Escort inspectors through the facility and respond to operational questions factually and without elaboration.

Confirm each morning that the facility is open, utilities are operational, and equipment is functioning before 10:00 AM.

Verify that external business signage is visible and in compliance.

Maintain strict physical HIPAA compliance, including locked medical records storage and secured server areas.

Maintain the Readiness Binder at the front desk at all times, containing:

Active state facility licenses

IRS CP-575 forms

Current building lease

Copy of the submitted 855B application

Clinical Responsibilities: Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM)

These duties are performed during on-site hours when inspection coverage permits and will expand to full-time remote clinical work as the hybrid schedule is introduced.

Facilitate patient enrollment into Flagler's RTM portal.

Make daily outbound calls and send text messages to patients to document health status and maintain engagement.

Collect and document patient health information, including medical histories, current health status, and new or evolving symptoms.

Send evidence-based health support resources to patients, including stretching guides, light exercise videos, and meditation content.

Participate in ongoing company training sessions and team check-ins.

Maintain strict patient confidentiality in full compliance with HIPAA regulations and Flagler company policies.
