About HumanSignal
Real-world data is the competitive edge in AI.
HumanSignal is a human data partner for companies building AI models and products. Our customers ship better AI, faster, because we partner with their researchers from real-world data creation to annotation to delivery.
We design and create datasets from scratch, recruit and manage the domain experts who evaluate model output, and run everything through our own platform, Label Studio, the open-source standard for data labeling and evaluation, used by over 1 million practitioners worldwide.
We specialize in the operationally complex: real-world data collection, multimodal pipelines, and multi-step workflows. Advanced ML and AI teams use our enterprise platform to run their own data factories, and our services team to extend their reach where in-house capacity runs out.
If you want to do work that materially shapes how the next generation of AI products gets built, we'd love to talk.
- Level: Individual Contributor
- Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000
- Location: Onsite in Columbus, Ohio
About the role
You run our building. When something on-site needs handling, you're the person who handles it: vendors, facilities, scheduling, and the daily flow of participants and visitors through our Columbus data lab. You'll also give the executive team the administrative backbone to focus on their work instead of their calendars.
This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who takes ownership of a physical space and the operations that run inside it. If you like being the person everyone counts on to keep things moving, you'll fit here.
What you'll do
Facilities and vendor management
Source, vet, and coordinate vendors and contractors for repairs, maintenance, and staging, including pricing, scheduling, and directing work on-site
Monitor the building's condition and fix maintenance and upkeep issues before they turn into bigger ones
Manage building access and greet visitors
Operations and scheduling
Schedule and coordinate high volumes of on-site participants, up to roughly 1,000 per month, including grouping and staffing so the site stays fully covered
Build and improve workflows and automations that keep scheduling and daily operations running
Handle client invoicing
Executive and team support
Support the executive team: calendar management, scheduling, and event planning
Serve as the catch-all for admin needs across the team, spotting gaps and solving problems on your own
Provide occasional light marketing support and materials
What we're looking for
Highly organized and resourceful, with strong ownership of a physical space
Tech-savvy enough to pick up new tools quickly; workflow and automation experience is a plus, not a requirement
A proactive problem-solver who does well juggling competing priorities
