Title: Operations Coordinator, Roofing & Waterproofing

Location: Connie, Greater Toronto Area

Company: Triumph Group of Companies

How Your Role Contributes to the Business

The Operations Coordinator, Roofing & Waterproofing is the person who keeps the division's information flowing

and its reporting sharp. You report directly to the VP and work every day with project managers, site supervisors,

field operations managers and Finance, pulling updates from the field, checking that the numbers make sense and

turning them into reports and dashboards leadership can act on. This is an office role with occasional site visits. not

a field coordination job, and you wont own project outcomes; you make it easier for the people who do. Good work

here means the weekly report goes out on time and nobody has to question the data in it. It also means you chase

a missing update until it's closed, fix the reason a number keeps coming in wrong instead of patching it every week.

and say so early when something slips. The VP should spend less time hunting for information, and the PMs and

supers should notice that the schedules and trackers they rely on are actually current.

change orders, RFIs and closeout packages

Familiarity with Ontario health and safety records (OHSA, Working at Heights, toolbox talks), plus a

college diploma in construction or business administration, Or equivalent experience

Attributes

You follow up until it's actually closed. Sending a reminder the same as getting the answer, and

you know the difference

When the numbers don't line up, you dig into why and fix the source, rather than quietly correcting the

report every week

If you miss something, you own it early and tell people what you'll do differently next time

You make the reasonable call on routine items without waiting to be told, and you know when something

needs to go to a manager

You're just as comfortable talking to a site supervisor as you are to Finance, and you share what you

know so everyone is working from the same information

What you'll Own

Build and deliver the weekly division report for the VP, covering project progress, productivity. labour

cost, quality and safety, and check the data for accuracy before it goes out

Collect daily production data, timesheets and site updates from site supervisors and foremen, follow up

on gaps and keep the information clean and consistent

Work with Finance to pull job cost, billing and backlog information into Excel and power Bl dashboards

that PMs and leadership actually use

Maintain the VP's action register and weekly priorities, tracking owners, deadlines and decisions

needed, and follow up on overdue items

Keep the master project and crew schedule current using input from PMs and field operations

managers, and flag conflicts or missing information

Coordinate pre-handover and handover meetings between estimating and project management,

confirm packages are complete, collect missing items and circulate the actions

Track QC checklists, inspection records, deficiency logs and safety documentation with the Safety

team, and follow open items through to close

Keep the training and certification matrix and crew rosters current with HR and Safety, and flag expiring

track them through to close

Support Purchasing and Logistics by raising approved requisitions and tracking material deliveries, and
