Due to our continued success, we are expanding and looking for a passionate Operations Intern to join our team.

Role:

We are looking for a motivated Operations Intern to support our Operations Department with day-to-day departmental needs. This internship will help you acquire skills and abilities and provide you with vast knowledge into our various projects.

Responsibilities:

Inbound Shipment Coordination

Recommend, issue, and track purchase orders for components, filling & finished goods

Maintain full visibility of purchase orders and track through to delivery; point of contact & weekly open orders calls

Obtains transport quotes and monitors costs in an offline tracker to ensure all quotes captured

Partner with Logistics to ensure timely inbound delivery of POs via air, ocean & trucks

Inventory Management

Receive purchase orders into ERP - flag any discrepancies on advanced Shipping Notice vs Receipt

Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations on components at supplier locations

Analyze and report monthly on excess, obsolete and discontinued

Liaise with Demand Planning and warehouse management team to ensure that stock is available to be allocated accordingly

Manages all warehouse transfers

Fulfill outbound orders to ensure fulfillment accuracy

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Working towards your Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or relevant field

Passion for the Beauty Industry, a plus

Must have a positive, team player attitude

Must communicate clearly and professionally, both verbal and written

Must have the ability to problem solve and manage time successfully

Must be highly organized and adaptable within a fast-paced environment
