Operations Leader

Foundation Risk Partners , one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding an Operations Leader to their team in Orange County .

Job Summary:

The Operations Leader serves as the operational leader for the Orange office, including team members located in our Glendale office, partnering closely with the Business Unit Leader and Sales Leadership to drive growth, accountability, operational excellence, and employee development.

This role is responsible for creating structure and consistency across a team of 60+ Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits employees while ensuring strong service delivery, quality control, talent management, and achievement of key business objectives. The ideal candidate is a visible leader who builds high-performing teams, drives accountability, and supports a culture focused on growth and client excellence.

Essential Functions:

Partner with Business Unit Leader and Sales Leadership to support growth, retention, and profitability goals.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of 60+ insurance professionals across multiple disciplines.

Create accountability around performance expectations, service standards, and operational execution.

Hire, onboard, develop, and, when necessary, manage performance improvement.

Drive quality control initiatives, workflow consistency, and operational best practices.

Monitor and improve key service, sales support, and operational KPI metrics.

Lead process improvement and change management initiatives.

Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier requirements, and regulatory standards.

Champion adoption of agency technology platforms and operational tools.

Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on client service and employee engagement.

Identify organizational needs and build talent pipelines to support future growth.

Competencies & Qualifications:

Proven experience leading teams, developing talent, and driving accountability.

Strong understanding of insurance agency operations and service workflows.

Experience supporting sales organizations and business growth initiatives.

Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead change, improve processes, and drive results.

Education & Experience:

Active California insurance license(s)

5+ years of insurance leadership experience.

This range represents the estimated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to performance, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of FRP's total compensation package for employees.

Pay Transparency Range

$150,000 — $200,000 USD
