Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned operations professional with strong on-ground knowledge of airline cargo movement. The role requires end-to-end ownership of air carrier operations, including managing multiple air lanes, controlling costs, and handling day-to-day operational and financial coordination with airline partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Manage end-to-end air carrier operations across multiple domestic air lanes
• •Oversee ground operations related to airline cargo movement, including pickup, handover, and coordination with airline teams
• •Own airline capacity planning and lane-level performance (on-time departures, delays, disruptions)
• •Manage air freight costs, negotiate rates, and ensure cost optimisation across lanes
• •Handle day-to-day payments, billing reconciliation, and coordination with finance teams
• •Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple airlines for day-to-day operational execution
• •Monitor daily operational metrics and proactively resolve exceptions
• •Coordinate closely with internal teams (warehouse, line haul, finance) to ensure smooth execution
• •Drive continuous improvement in service levels, cost efficiency, and operational reliability

Required Skills & Experience

• •1+ years of management experience in air carrier services, airline cargo operations, or air freight logistics
• •Strong data orientation with hands-on experience using Excel for operational analysis and decision-making.
• •Strong understanding of on-ground airline cargo operations and processes
• •Experience managing multiple air connections and airline partners
• •Proven ability to control costs and manage operational budget
• •Hands-on experience with vendor payments, billing, and reconciliation
• •Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage operations independently
• •Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• •Prior experience working with domestic airline cargo teams
• •Exposure to high-volume, time-critical logistics operations
• •Ability to work in fast-paced, operationally intensive environments
