the posting

Are you customer obsessed, flexible, smart and analytical, strategic yet execution focused, hungry and passionate about e-commerce? Are you an experienced professional with a strong work ethic and a bias for action? If yes, this opportunity will appeal to you. The ideal candidate is energized by digging into messy data, forming a hypothesis, finding the root cause, and driving a fix to closure across multiple teams and locations. We are looking for an Operations Specialist who shares Amazon's passion for the customer, someone who understands that a dependable delivery and fulfillment experience is central to how both sellers and buyers experience the Amazon platform.

In this role, you will work closely with sellers, seller support, customer service, sales, and third-party carriers to identify delivery and fulfillment issues that sellers face, and resolve their acute and short-term problems. You will investigate why sellers struggle with or leave fulfillment programs, separate seller-owned gaps from Amazon-owned gaps, and recommend specific fixes. You will also partner with product management teams to translate recurring seller pain points into longer-term features and programs that improve the seller and customer experience.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Monitor operational performance and partner with other teams (third-party carriers, customer service, seller support, product, operations) to resolve performance issues and keep metrics within goal.
  • Monitor and drive seller-impacting operational tickets and escalations to resolution within defined service levels, flagging anything at risk of breaching its window ahead of time.
  • Run structured deep dives into seller friction and program attrition: pull and sanity-check the data yourself, form a hypothesis, establish the root cause with transaction-level evidence, identify whether the gap sits with the seller or with Amazon, and recommend a fix.
  • Review and investigate incoming seller issues and feedback from multiple sources, and route each finding to the right team with a clear owner and next step, leaving nothing open at the end of the week.
  • Size cost and savings opportunities across marketplaces and fulfillment methods, explaining what the numbers mean rather than passing dashboard output through unchanged.
  • Build and run recurring operational reports (including automating them where possible) and produce weekly business-review inputs that lead with the headline metric, the week-over-week movement, and the reason for any change.
  • Gather and analyze seller contacts and feedback to develop seller-experience improvement suggestions, and work with Product Managers on solutions.
  • Must be open to working on Saturday and Sunday, with any other 2 days of the week off.

Basic qualifications

  • - 1+ years of data-driven business operations processes experience
  • - Bachelor's degree
  • - Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • - Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • - Experience with Excel

Preferred qualifications

  • - Knowledge of consumer product compliance processes and regulations
  • - Experience in regulatory compliance management with government agencies
