About Solidroad
Building something great is addictive. It’s like discovering your favorite TV show mid-season, except you're helping write the next episode. It’s like unboxing a new gadget, except you’re the one designing it. You shape how it feels, how it works, and how people react when they use it.
At Solidroad we're solving a big, messy, exciting problem: how do you scale your customer teams without losing what makes humans amazing? Warmth, empathy, intuition. We’re using AI, generative tech, and real-time simulations to make this happen. It's ambitious, difficult, and genuinely new.
About the role
Solidroad is a fast-growing startup and our Dublin office moves quickly. We're looking for a part-time or full-time Operations Specialist to help keep things running day to day- taking care of the traveling, scheduling, event planning, ordering, and general errands that keep an office humming. It's a hands-on, varied role and a great way to get real exposure to how a high-growth startup operates from the inside.
This is perfect for someone looking to get stuck in, and learn the ops side of a startup.
What you'll actually do day-to-day
Handle day-to-day office errands and operational tasks as they come up
Help coordinate team socials, office events
Keep the office stocked and tidy: order and restock supplies, snacks, drinks, and equipment
Book and schedule things- meetings, meeting rooms, travel, deliveries, and appointments
Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
Be the day-to-day point of contact for office suppliers, vendors, and building/facilities (maintenance, cleaning, repairs)
Greet and host visitors, candidates, guests so they have a great first impression
Pitch in on ad hoc admin and ops tasks across the office
Our Team & Culture
We're a small, focused group working full-time in our Dublin & San Francisco offices. We're here five days a week because building something ambitious means collaborating closely, solving problems together, sharing ideas spontaneously. We're intentional about creating a culture that's mature, supportive, and fun. You'll be joining experienced founders who've done this before, alongside a tight-knit team genuinely excited about building something impactful.
We hope you
Have 2+ years of experience in operations, office management, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-growing company.
Are exceptionally organized and detail-oriented — you keep things running smoothly and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Are naturally proactive — you spot problems before they happen, take initiative, and get things done without being asked.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same and priorities can change quickly.
Are a natural people person — friendly, approachable, and someone the whole team enjoys working with.
Take real ownership of your work, whether it's managing the office, organizing events, or supporting the wider team.
Are resourceful and solutions-oriented — you figure things out, even when there's no playbook to follow.
Think like a founder — you care about the little details, take pride in creating a great place to work, and are excited to help build something special.
Are based in Dublin and excited to be a hands-on presence in our office.
The good, the bad, and the honest truth
The highs are real: you’ll play a big part in shaping the culture of a fast-growing startup, work closely with the leaders, and help create an office where people genuinely love coming to work. You’ll have the freedom to take ownership, bring new ideas to life, and make a real impact on how we operate day to day.
The lows? Things move fast, priorities change, and sometimes you’ll need to figure things out without a playbook. You’ll juggle everything from the little details to big team initiatives, and no two days will look the same. This isn’t a place to sit back and wait for instructions — it’s a place to take initiative, solve problems, and grow with the company.
If that sounds exciting, don’t overthink it. Reach out. Tell us a little about yourself, what you've done, and why you'd be great at making Solidroad an amazing place to work. We care more about attitude, initiative, and a willingness to get stuck in than a perfect CV.
