ROLE OVERVIEW

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of Operatives across shifts, ensuring consistent achievement of performance targets in quality, efficiency, and process adherence. This leadership role drives a culture of excellence by aligning the team with organisational goals, safety standards, and operational best practices, while owning process improvement initiatives and coaching team members to reach their full potential. The Operations Supervisor delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT

Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Partner with shift and department leadership, process engineers, project managers, and HR, L&D, and H&S teams to align on operational priorities, resolve escalations, and drive continuous improvement across the fulfilment operation.

Maintain strong communication with internal customers — including retail and events teams, the eCommerce team, and branding and merchandising — to ensure the team has the resources and information needed to succeed.

Represent shift-level performance and operational insights to management, escalating issues that require broader support and ensuring stakeholders remain informed in real time.

People Leadership:

Coach, develop, and performance-manage a team of Operatives through regular one-on-one check-ins, structured feedback, and targeted development opportunities to drive consistent high performance.

Lead all people management responsibilities including holiday approvals, absence management, and disciplinary processes, ensuring a fair, consistent, and supportive approach.

Deliver pre-shift briefings and regular intra-shift communications to keep the team fully informed of goals, responsibilities, process updates, and operational changes.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

Lead the shift to meet and exceed performance targets across volume, service, and quality metrics, ensuring every fan order is fulfilled accurately and on time.

Monitor and adjust shift performance in real time, resolving disruptions such as staffing shortages or system errors before they impact customer outcomes.

Ensure operational tasks are executed safely and efficiently in line with company standards, maintaining the quality and consistency fans expect from every interaction.

Uphold a culture of high standards across the warehouse environment, directly contributing to a positive and reliable fan-facing fulfilment experience.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)

Identify and implement quick-win process improvements within the department, while driving longer-term operational changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Work closely with team members to surface and resolve process bottlenecks or inefficiencies, fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving on the floor.

Leverage WMS tools and systems to monitor workflow, identify performance gaps, and inform data-driven decisions that improve shift outcomes.

Champion the continuous improvement of the working environment, including standards of operation and health and safety culture across the team.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)

Take full accountability for shift performance, proactively monitoring daily activities and resolving issues quickly to prevent operational delays.

Effectively allocate resources — including staff and equipment — to meet production and service demands across the shift.

Ensure all team members consistently adhere to safety standards, operational best practices, and process guidelines, holding the team accountable with care and clarity.

Track work in progress throughout the shift and take decisive action to maintain smooth operational flow, escalating where necessary and following through to resolution.
