This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly.

The Operator III, Warehouse & Distribution Management (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks in warehouses and distribution centers to ensure smooth operations. You will optimize storage, develop distribution strategies, and maintain safety and efficiency. Specifics include:

In this role, a typical day will include:

• •Handle highly complex manual or operational tasks within warehouses and distribution centers
• •Optimize storage space and material flows
• •Develop and implement distribution strategies to enhance business performance
• •Ensure safety and efficiency in operations
• •Make significant decisions requiring advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities
• •Maintain accurate inventory records
• •Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient distribution of materials
• •Implement best practices for warehouse management
• •Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the distribution network, directly impacting the company's operational success

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• •High School Diploma or equivalent
• •The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• •Location : Onsite Houston, TX
• •Schedule : Monday – Wednesday and Alternating Thursdays - 4:00 AM CST – 4:00 PM CST
