The details
This role is located at the SLC Lab ( 2595 Custer Road SLC, UT 84104)
Start Date: October 26th, 2026
Shifts:
Monday-Thursday; 2:00pm-12:00am
Monday-Thursday; 8:00am-6:00pm
Wednesday, Friday-Sunday; 7:00am-7:00pm
Starting Wage: $18.50/Hr
What you’ll do
All optical lab technicians are trained in the essential job functions in their primary department, including Surface, AR, and Finishing. These will include:
Calibrations and operations of all equipment.
Mounting lenses into frames while ensuring proper fit, alignment, and quality standards.
Effectively identify and address work flow and quality issues.
Following standard operating procedures.
Technicians will also have the opportunity to be trained in the essential job functions in other departments to meet business and individual growth needs

Previous experience working in an optical setting is preferred
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
