0–3 years of experience in optical assembly, lab work, or precision mechanical/technical environments.
Basic understanding of optical components and systems (lenses, mirrors, alignment concepts).
Experience working with hand tools, microscopes, alignment equipment, or lab instrumentation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and documentation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with optical alignment techniques and test equipment (e.g., interferometers, collimators, alignment lasers).
Familiarity with optomechanical assemblies or telescope systems.
Experience working in cleanroom or controlled lab environments.
Basic knowledge of electronics or embedded systems is a plus.
Exposure to CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar) for interpreting designs.
Experience supporting prototype builds or R&D environments.
