What you'll do:

As an Associate Optometrist, you’ll provide compassionate, comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, from routine examinations and prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses to the diagnosis and management of medical eye conditions. Your responsibilities will include diabetic eye exams and retinopathy monitoring, glaucoma evaluations and eye pressure checks, retinal assessments, and treatment of dry eye and other ocular surface conditions, with access to equipment including OCT, Optos, Ellemn, and YAG laser. You’ll develop personalized treatment plans, educate patients on eye health and preventive care, and coordinate referrals to ophthalmologists or other specialists when needed. You’ll maintain accurate, timely electronic health records documenting medical histories, examination findings, testing and imaging results, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations while protecting patient confidentiality and maintaining HIPAA compliance. You’ll also support MIPS participation when applicable, quality reporting and performance benchmarks, Medicare and other insurance documentation, regulatory compliance, and ongoing quality improvement. Working closely with opticians, technicians, front office staff, and other healthcare professionals, you’ll communicate clearly and balance an efficient schedule with attentive, personalized care. You’ll help expand comprehensive medical eye care and advanced dry eye services, contribute to the development of cosmetic and aesthetic services, stay current with emerging technologies and treatments, strengthen patient and referral relationships, and share ideas that improve the patient experience, clinical efficiency, and practice growth. The role includes 35–40 hours and a patient volume of 25–30 patients per doctor.

Who you are:

You’re a clinically skilled, compassionate optometrist who confidently diagnoses and manages medical eye conditions beyond routine vision care. You build trust through a caring bedside manner and bring attention to detail to every examination, patient chart, and follow-up. With a growth-oriented mindset, you’re excited to help expand dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye care, and aesthetic services.
