OSHA Training Coordinator, TX

Safety Worxs is recruiting on behalf of a valued client seeking an experienced, hands-on Training Coordinator for a direct-hire opportunity supporting facilities in Hempstead and Hockley, Texas. This role is responsible for coordinating, delivering, and documenting safety training for employees on all shifts. The ideal candidate is Spanish/English bilingual, brings strong manufacturing safety experience, deep knowledge of OSHA requirements, and the ability to connect with employees on the production floor.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate, schedule, and deliver instructor-led safety training for employees at both facilities and across day and night shifts

Conduct equipment safety training, including forklift, crane, and other industrial equipment

Deliver new-hire safety orientations and ongoing refresher training

Ensure training programs meet OSHA regulations and company safety requirements

Maintain accurate training records and track employee certifications, renewals, and compliance

Identify training needs and work with the Safety Manager to develop and improve training materials

Partner with supervisors and department leaders to schedule training with minimal disruption to operations

Support a strong safety culture through clear communication and visible presence on the floor

Travel regularly between the Hempstead and Hockley facilities

Qualifications:

OSHA 500

Experience coordinating and conducting safety training in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements.

Experience delivering instructor-led training, including forklift, crane, and other equipment safety training.

Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Ability to maintain accurate training records and ensure employee compliance with required certifications.

Preferred:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
