Description

Hotel Maintenance Technician

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician, where your skills will ensure our property remains safe, clean, and well-maintained for our guests and staff. This hourly position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment while developing your maintenance expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of hotel facilities and equipment

- Conduct deep cleaning tasks to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

- Organize maintenance supplies and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained

- Remove and repair furniture as needed, including furniture removal and installation

- Address general repair tasks across the property, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests to resolve issues efficiently

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, or a similar role

- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems

- Ability to perform deep cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

- Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
