ReconCraft is seeking an Outfitter to be r esponsible for assembling and outfitting newly manufactured vessels. Duties include installation of all parts, equipment, components, hardware, and accessories as part of a vessel manufacturing production line.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited):

Assembling/testing of parts using drawings and bills of material

Point-to-point wiring

Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods including crimping and soldering

Using common hand and power tools

Familiarity with mechanical assemblies

Following documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and ensuring proper function of parts

Measurements with calipers, tape measures, various gauges, and other devices

Performing minor adjustments to tools and equipment

Inspection of assemblies

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

High school graduate or GED

Required Knowledge/Experience:

Valid driver’s license

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:

Recent experience outfitting and assembling vessels or similar systems

Installing outboard and inboard motors

Installing waterjets, stern drives, and other similar propulsion systems

Installing marine electronics

Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge

ABYC certifications are a bonus

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs

This position requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing, and visual acuity

Must also be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasks

Position Pay Range

$24.55 — $39.98 USD
