• Position Summary:
• Achieves or exceeds sales objective by serving the customer. Interacts with sales, office, and corporate staff to accomplish company goals.

Essential Functions:

• •The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• •Opening and closing the store
• •Welcomes customers by greeting them; and offering assistance.
• •Assists customers by escorting them to area of the store for requested items.
• •Monitors sales staff and inspects what is expected.
• •Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence. Offers suggestions and opinions.
• •Maintains sales floor integrity through visual display.
• •Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment.
• •Responsible for prepping new furniture and placing on the floor with the help of other staff members.
• •Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of future merchandise of potential interest (Wish Book).
• •Contributes to team assignments and requirements.
• •Works together as an individual and team to open and close the showrooms.

Requirements

• Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• •Customer Service and people skills, selling to customer needs.
• •Product knowledge. General math skills. Computer Skills.
• •Excellent communication, organizational, listening and leadership skills.
• •Initiative to meet assigned sales goals, missions and objectives.
• •Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport.

• Medium
• Exerting 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 lbs. of force frequently and or greater than negligible up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

• Definitions:
• Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time
• Frequently : activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
• Constantly : activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time
