The PA Announcer delivers clear, accurate, and engaging announcements during home basketball games for the Men and Women's teams. This role is essential in creating an energetic and welcoming game-day atmosphere while maintaining professionalism and neutrality in accordance with NCAA and institutional guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Announce starting lineups and player introductions
- Communicate in-game substitutions in a timely manner
- Announce scoring plays as they occur
- Report fouls called during the game
- Notify the crowd of timeouts
- Relay any other game-related information as needed
Requirements :
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a live event setting
- Professional and neutral demeanor
- Ability to work effectively with game management staff
Compensation Pay Range:
$18/hour
- Keene State College is located in the scenic Monadnock region of Southwest New Hampshire and is an affiliate of the University System of New Hampshire.
