Job Description:

Assists higher-trained personnel in providing effective care.

Delivers exceptional customer service to patients, families, bystanders, and other response agency personnel.

Supports community service and relationship functions as requested by leadership.

Maintains a safe and effective work environment by adhering to infection control standards.

Communicates effectively with healthcare team members and other emergency responders.

Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus available to eligible candidates (see terms below)

Terms:12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On

Sign-on Eligibility :

• •One (1) year of applicable experience
• •Internal Candidate and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible

Scheduled: Full time

Shift: Monday-Friday 0500-1330

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• •Ability to assess, treat, and care for patients to the level of certification
• •Ability to maintain a professional and calm presence under the most critical situations
• •Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and professional manner
• •Ability to determine the nature of patient conditions and assess whether patients have pre-existing medical conditions
• •Ability to identify and treat life-threatening conditions within the paramedic's field of practice

Education:

• •Associate [Preferred]
• •High School Grad or Equivalent [Required]

Work Experience:

1+ related work experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• •Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required]
• •Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• •Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• •Driver's License (DL) [Required]
• •National Incident Management System FEMA Training (NIMS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

• $20.58 - $32.92
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
