Part Time After School Nanny – Winchester, MA

A warm and active family in Winchester is seeking an engaging, responsible part-time nanny to care for their two school-aged children (ages 5 and 7). The family prioritizes a screen-free environment during the week focused on active play, reading, and creative learning.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 7:30 PM

20.5 hours per week (potential for up to 6 additional hours if mutually agreed upon)

Family Specifications:

Household includes two children attending the same elementary school

Screen-free environment during the workweek

The family values open collaboration, clear communication, energetic engagement, and active outdoor/creative play

Responsibilities:

Pick up both children from school and transport them home or to scheduled activities (including one weekly activity located approximately 40 minutes away)

Assist with reading practice and homework support

Plan and engage children in arts and crafts, structured activities, and creative learning

Prepare after-school snacks and simple, healthy meals for the children

Complete children's laundry once per week

Requirements:

Proven experience caring for school-aged children

Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle for transporting children (mileage/gas reimbursed)

Professional fluency in English to effectively assist children with reading and homework assignments

Preferred:

An interest in or knowledge of hockey is a welcome plus!

Compensation:

$35-40 per hour
