Lake Area Discovery Center is seeking a Part-Time Preschool Assistant Teacher to support a preschool classroom at Discovery Center location in White Bear Lake . This role works closely with the Lead Teacher and classroom team to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for infants 6 weeks-15 months old.

What You'll Do

• •Support the Lead Teacher in an infant classroom
• •Assist with daily activities and infant care
• •Help create a positive, nurturing environment for young children
• •Supervise and engage children during play, learning, and care
• •Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• •Communicate with teaching staff and support classroom planning
• •Follow Minnesota DHS licensing guidelines

Qualifications

• •Experience working with young children in childcare or early education preferred
• •Coursework or training in Early Childhood Education or related field is helpful
• •Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and families
• •Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation & Benefits

• •$18.00–$22.00 per hour , based on education and experience
• •Year-round position (12 months)
• •32 hours Paid Time Off (PTO)
