Part-Time Babysitter– Philadelphia, PA
A family in Philadelphia, PA 19146 is seeking an engaging, reliable part-time babysitter for a 12-year-old child in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will support home school learning activities, assist with homework, and provide safe transportation.
Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (10.5 hours per week)
Family Environment:
Household includes one child (age 12) and 1 cat
Home school environment
Smoke-free home
Values support with educational activities, arts & crafts, and homework
Responsibilities:
Primary support and supervision during home school activities and homework
Plan and engage in educational activities and arts & crafts
Provide safe transportation to and from activities
Assist with light household tasks, including child's laundry once per week
Requirements:
Proven experience in childcare, tutoring, or educational support
Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and clean driving record
Comfortable around pets (1 cat in home)
Awareness and ability to assist with managing minor childhood health needs (asthma/allergies)
Compensation:
$19-$21 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Gas stipend / mileage reimbursement provided for driving during care
