Part-Time Custodian

Job Description:

Summary:

Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing duties and maintain the cleanliness of the building and the surrounding grounds.

What You Will Do

• •Duties may include dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
• •Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored following use
• •Emptying trash receptacles and recycling bins, disposing of waste, and cleaning containers
• •Replenish products and supplies in assigned area
• •Help with the inventory and ordering of products for lunchrooms
• •Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaner
• •Performing minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing fixtures, or light painting.
• •Alert appropriate personnel concerning the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems
• •Notify supervisor of need to order various cleaning supplies and equipment.
• •Remove and dispose of debris or trash.
• •May perform basic maintenance and repair duties, including outside grounds work as required.

What We Are Looking For

• •High school diploma or GED
• •Entry-level support role
• •Can perform routine tasks as directed
• •Completes assignments with little supervision.

Pay Range: $17.77 - $20.65
