Part Time Infant Nanny – Santa Clara, CA

A welcoming family in Santa Clara is seeking an experienced, nurturing part-time nanny to care for their 10-week-old infant during the late afternoon and evening hours. This family has a vaccination policy in place, which will be discussed directly with the candidate.

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday, approximately 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Approximately 16 hours per week

Start date: ASAP / November 2026

Collaborative home environment focused on safe sleep and gentle infant routines

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive infant care, including diapering, soothing, age-appropriate developmental play, and bedtime routines

Administer responsive, paced bottle feeding following reflux-friendly techniques (avoiding snack-feeding without forcing bottle completion)

Support safe sleep practices (strictly flat on back in the bassinet) and gentle, age-appropriate sleep shaping and bassinet transfers (no cry-it-out)

Wash and sanitize bottles according to the family's preferred routine during nap times

Maintain and tidy baby-specific items and nursery areas

Requirements:

Demonstrated professional experience caring for newborns and young infants (0–6 months)

Experience with paced bottle feeding and reflux management

Experience with gentle bassinet sleep transfers

Current Infant CPR and First Aid certifications

Verifiable professional childcare references

Compensation:

$30–$36 per hour
