What you will have an opportunity to do:

Restaurant Server | Marriott Colorado Springs

Think about the best dining experience you have ever had. Chances are, it was not just about the food. It was about how you felt the moment you walked in. It was the server who knew the menu inside and out and made you feel like every recommendation was made just for you. That experience does not happen by accident. It happens because of the person behind it.

We are looking for a highly motivated, guest-focused Restaurant Server to join our team at the Marriott Colorado Springs. If you are someone who brings natural warmth to every interaction, takes pride in knowing your craft, and genuinely loves the art of hospitality, we want to meet you.

About the Role

As a Restaurant Server, you are the face of our restaurant and the single most important variable in our guests’ dining experience. From the moment guests are seated to the moment they sign their check, everything that happens at that table flows through you. You will need to know the menu deeply enough to guide guests through it with genuine enthusiasm, handle special requests without missing a beat, collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen and bar teams, and resolve concerns in a way that leaves guests walking out happier than they expected.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing the restaurant thoroughly before each shift, ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and guest-ready before the first cover arrives

Greeting every guest warmly and promptly as they arrive or move through the restaurant

Guiding guests through their culinary journey with descriptive, enthusiastic menu selling that helps them make choices they will genuinely enjoy

Developing and maintaining deep knowledge of every item on the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and pairing recommendations

Taking orders accurately, confirming all special requests and dietary needs without exception

Delivering food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, checking in with guests to ensure everything meets their expectations

Performing quality checks throughout the meal and anticipating needs before guests have to ask

Working collaboratively and communicating clearly with kitchen staff, bar staff, and fellow servers

Addressing guest concerns with patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to resolution

Maintaining knowledge of the full beverage program including wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits

Presenting bills accurately and in a timely manner, completing the experience on a high note

Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized work area throughout the shift

What We’re Looking For

An engaging, warm, and welcoming personality that makes guests feel at home the moment you approach the table

A natural ability to sell descriptively; you do not just recite the menu, you make people excited about what they are about to experience

A genuine passion for creating exceptional dining experiences for every guest, every shift, without exception

Strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits

The ability to stay composed, focused, and genuinely hospitable under pressure during high-volume service periods

Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to connect authentically with guests from all walks of life

A collaborative, team-first attitude

What are we looking for?

Qualifications

2 to 4 years of food service experience required; hotel restaurant or upscale dining experience is a strong plus

Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits; ability to make confident and informed beverage recommendations

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the state of Colorado

Ability to stand, walk, and remain active on your feet for the full duration of a shift

Ability to carry trays and transport food and beverage items safely throughout service

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tables simultaneously

Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business

Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the Marriott brand standards

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Who Thrives Here

The servers who truly excel in this role are the ones who understand that hospitality is personal. They do not treat tables like transactions. They treat guests like people who chose to spend their time and money here, and they make sure that choice feels like the right one every single time. They know the menu cold. They read the table and adjust their approach accordingly.

What’s In It for You

At Pyramid Global Hospitality, we believe that the people who deliver exceptional experiences deserve to feel exceptional about where they work. When you join our team, you gain access to a full range of benefits designed to support your life and your future, including:

Exclusive discounts on room rates and experiences across our award-winning hotel portfolio
