Parts Advisor

Jim Shorkey is in search of a Parts Advisor to join our team.

The Parts Advisor is responsible for Inventory accuracy, parts locations, and organization of materials throughout the dealership.

Pay: $45,000-$60,000 based on experience

Job duties include, but not limited to:

• •Work with parts manager to locate any parts, not in stock.
• •Complete special-order part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer.
• •Oversee the automotive parts sales process from customer inquiry to finding the part to invoicing the customer.
• •Process daily parts order with CDK scanner
• •Pull parts orders for technician and counter people.
• •Inventory and Stocking
• •Managing stock
• •Parts lookup
• •Disbursing parts to technicians
• •Waiting on retail customers

Requirements

• •Prior dealership parts and CDK experience is a huge plus.
• •Must be over 18
• •Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR
• •Must be able to pass a drug test
• •Knowledge and understanding of inventory
• •Knowledge and understanding of receiving
• •Possess phone skills for both employee and customer interactions
• •Have basic computer skills. Training will be provided for necessary programs
• •Dealership experience not required.
