The Parts Coordinator provides administrative support to the Parts Team. This position is responsible for assisting internal and external customers, managing inventory, and processing orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Inventory Support
- Assist with inventory management to avoid surplus and obsolete stock.
- Ground and freight shipments.
- Maintain the parts database with accurate parts descriptions, pricing, pictures, and correct quantities.
- Manage the parts inventory database and the content that is uploaded to the company website and eBay.
- Oversee the ordering of monthly PM filters for the service team.
Parts Support
- Provide research to customers with parts information by utilizing all available resources.
- Manage the parts listings on SalesForce and make sure parts are being added and removed once sold.
- Assist with parts marketing to achieve revenue goals.
- Participate in building preferred supplier relationships.
- Collect images for new items and upload them to the system.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, or delivery schedule.
- Respond to request for quotes on FastTrack and Netcom.
- Process parts orders and follow through with customers on the shipping details.
- Generate invoices and purchase orders for all parts sales and parts purchases.
- Create a monthly email blast featuring specific parts and send it out to all customers and leads.
Safety
- Report all recognized unsafe conditions or acts to Management.
- Wear proper PPE when necessary.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
EDUCATION
High school diploma, GED, trade school or equivalent.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES
No certifications or licenses needed for this position.
EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years of administrative experience preferred.
- Previous parts experience.
- Salesforce.com experience.
