Parts Delivery Driver

The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for driving parts and equipment between store locations, our customers’ locations and/or supplier’s locations to pick up and return, safely and in accordance to all local, state and federal laws and/or company policies/procedures.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• •Pick-up and deliver parts and equipment between store locations, customers’ locations and/or suppliers’ locations, safely and in accordance to all local, state and federal laws and/or company policies/procedures.
• •Load/unload delivery vehicle in a safe manner, securing all items.
• •Ensure timely and accurate pick-up/delivery; verify invoice or purchase order matches order being delivered; obtain customer signature of pick-up delivery.
• •Properly conduct pre and post trip inspections, reporting any deficiencies to management.
• •Collect payment from customer.
• •Maintain accurate log of pick-ups/deliveries.
• •Other duties as assigned.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand or walk. Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• •High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• •Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills.
• •Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• •Must be 21 or older.
• •Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• •Ability to pass Work Steps pre-employment physical.
• •Ability to work safely and effectively, following all policies, procedures and/or laws.
• •Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• •Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
• •Ability to be on-call 24/7.
