Hall Nissan in Virginia Beach is adding a Parts Driver to our busy team. This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, no Saturdays! Position pays $15/hour. Clean driving record a must!

• Summary:
• The Parts Driver will be responsible for transporting automotive parts to different locations using a company vehicle while obeying all federal and state traffic laws and safe daily practices. This individual will communicate at a high level to both internal and external customers to drive a high level of customer service.

• Essential Duties for Automotive Parts Driver:
• - Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors
• - Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and checks for payments
• - Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups, payments and COD’s
• - Advises Parts Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance
• - Assists service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' cars

• Qualifications for Automotive Parts Driver:
• - Valid Driver’s License, with 2 or fewer moving violations and ALSO no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years
• - Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• - Ability to write simple correspondence
• - Self-Starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction
• - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• - Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills
