We are seeking a friendly, service-oriented Patient Attendant to join our Patient Experience Team! This is a highly active role that requires extensive walking, standing, and patient transportation at the hospital and clinic. In this role, you will warmly greet and assist patients, family members, and visitors while helping them navigate our facilities. You will regularly escort patients, push wheelchairs, and provide assistance, playing an important part in creating a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for everyone who enters our organization.

What's Available:

  • 40 hours/week, Full-time (1.0 FTE)
  • Shifts: 8 am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, weekend rotation required
  • Location: La Crosse - Redfield
  • Benefit eligible position

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, directing, escorting, and assisting patients, visitors, and families throughout the hospital and clinic.
  • Transport patients safely throughout the facility, including pushing wheelchairs and walking with patients to appointments, procedures, and other destinations.
  • Remain active throughout the shift, spending the majority of the day walking, standing, and assisting patients.
  • Assist patients with wheelchair use, transport, and wayfinding while ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Support check-in processes for visitors and vendors and respond to customer questions, concerns, or needs using appropriate resources.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 1 year of experience working with the public
  • 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills is a plus!
