• DaVita is hiring a full-time Patient Care Technician / Administrative Assistant (PCT/AA) combines clinical patient care with administrative clinic operations to support seamless daily facility workflow!

In this full-time dual role, you split your focus between direct patient care on the treatment floor and vital clerical/coordination functions for the clinic team.

Some details about this position:

• •No prior Dialysis experience is required!
• •Complete a full-time, fully paid training program for 10 weeks
• •Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic
• •Float to various clinics during and after your training
• •You must be open to a flexible Full-Time variable/rotating ​schedule working 3–4 days/week, 8-10-12- and/or -14-hour shifts (alternating Saturdays) - Sunday's off !
• •Flexible/open availability is required
• •Early morning 3:30 / 4 AM availability is required
• •Seasonal, Part Time, Short Term or Per Diem schedules are not available

Key Responsibilities:

• •Direct Patient Care: Perform clinical dialysis technician duties (patient vitals, machine set-up, treatment monitoring, access care, and post-treatment clean-up) during busy clinic days and treatment shifts
• •Administrative & Front Office Support: Manage front desk reception, phone inquiries, patient records, chart prep, transportation scheduling, supply ordering/inventory monitoring, and clinic compliance documentation
• •Team & Care Coordination: Partner closely with the Facility Administrator, Registered Nurses, Dietitians, and Social Workers to ensure an exceptional care environment for our dialysis patient

Requirements:

• •High school diploma or GED equivalent
• •CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain during training)
• •Strong organizational, communication, and computer/data entry skills
• •We seek a personable individual with excellent computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office)
• •Type 60 WPM

Preferred:

Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT/BONENT/NNCO) or willingness/eligibility to obtain CMS-approved PCT certification within state/CMS requirements, as at times operates as a PCT
