We are looking for a highly skilled ICHD PCT with expert cannulation experience who is passionate about patient care and interested in expanding their knowledge across home modalities. This role will primarily support the ICHD floor while cross-training in PD and HHD to help patients achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with patient training for Home Hemodialysis (HHD) and Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) under RN supervision.
  • Prepare, monitor, and maintain dialysis equipment and treatment areas.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, treatment responses, and clinical observations.
  • Support follow-up care, supply tracking, and telehealth check-ins.
  • Provide technical and emotional support throughout HHD training.
  • Perform direct patient care duties within the ICHD clinic, including expert cannulation and dialysis treatment support.
  • Cross-train and support ICHD, PD, and HHD operations as needed.
  • Float between modalities based on patient and business needs while maintaining support of the ICHD floor.

Requirements

  • Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent.
  • Comfortable with blood, needles, and medical equipment.
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
  • Flexible schedule (may include weekends or holidays).
  • Willing to train and float across clinics as needed.
  • Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, or healthcare experience.

What We Offer

  • Paid training with ongoing education and career paths
  • Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off
  • Family support: backup child/elder care, Headspace, EAP, parental leave
  • Career development Programs: Clinical Ladders, Bridge to Your Dreams RN program

Why Join Us?

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced ICHD PCT to broaden their clinical skill set by gaining exposure to both PD and HHD while continuing to utilize and strengthen their expertise in the dialysis clinic. If you are adaptable, patient-focused, and eager to grow within nephrology care, we encourage you to apply.
