Would you like to use your PCB design skills to create advanced hearing devices that help people with hearing loss connect more easily with the world around them?

As a PCB Designer at GN Hearing, you will follow your designs from early ideas and prototypes through to finished products ready for production.

Whether you bring established PCB design experience or are ready to build further on a solid foundation, you will have knowledgeable colleagues around you and opportunities to contribute your perspective.

Welcome to GN Hearing

You will join Electronic Integration, part of Product Development in R&D at our headquarters in Ballerup. We are responsible for making the electronic components in our hearing aids as compact as possible while maintaining reliable performance and signal integrity.

We work closely with colleagues in mechanical design, electroacoustics, software, radio systems and production. Our team values practical problem-solving and knowledge-sharing, with room for questions and learning from different levels of experience.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Design schematics and PCB layouts in Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture
  • Contribute to PCB solutions from concept development and prototyping through to production release
  • Review solutions and design test verification together with PCB design colleagues to resolve issues early
  • Work with cross-functional project teams to inform design decisions and develop new solutions
  • Collaborate with our production unit in Præstø to make sure that designs are manufacturable
  • Create clear and accurate PCB documentation
  • Participate in sourcing and qualifying PCB suppliers

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Bring a relevant degree, e.g. a bachelor’s in electronic engineering
  • Have experience with PCB design, and would like to continue developing your skills in a product development environment
  • May have experience with PCB manufacturing, assembly processes and IPC standards
  • Are familiar with PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro, OrCAD Capture or Capture CIS Database, or are willing to learn relevant tools
  • Enjoy working closely with others to create quality outcomes
  • Can communicate proficiently in English

We pride ourselves on encouraging flexible work whenever possible. We trust our people to fulfill their responsibilities, to know when in-person collaboration is better than hybrid, and to be present when it is needed most.

We are focused on an inclusive recruitment process

All applicants will receive equal consideration for employment. As such, we encourage you to submit your CV without a photo to ensure an equal and fair application process.

Should you have any special requirements for the interview, please let the Hiring Manager know upon accepting the invitation to the interview.

How to apply?

Use the ‘APPLY’ link no later than November 27, 2026 . Applications are reviewed on a continuous basis, and we may close the position before the application deadline if we find the right candidate. We therefore encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Feel free to only submit your up-to-date CV, including a few sentences outlining your motivation for applying.
