PCBA Test Equipment Electrical Development Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• •Design and develop electrical systems for PCBA test equipment, including ICT, FCT, ATE, and other automated test platforms.
• •Develop test fixtures, jigs, and automated testing solutions based on product testing requirements.
• •Create electrical schematics, select components, and perform equipment integration, debugging, and validation.
• •Develop and optimize functional testing, programming, aging, and reliability testing solutions.
• •Analyze and resolve production line test issues to improve test coverage, efficiency, yield, and equipment reliability.
• •Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and provide technical support during mass production.
• •Prepare technical documentation, operating procedures, and training materials.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
• •Minimum 3 years of experience in PCBA test equipment development, automated equipment design, or test system engineering.
• •Strong understanding of ICT, FCT, ATE principles and electronic manufacturing test processes.
• •Familiar with digital and analog circuit design, as well as communication protocols such as UART, CAN, and RS485.
• •Proficient in electrical design tools such as Altium Designer, EPLAN, and AutoCAD.
• •Ability to independently perform equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• •Experience with PLC programming, LabVIEW, Python, C#, or industrial automation control systems is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience in Consumer Electronics, Automotive Electronics, or New Energy industries.
• •Hands-on experience with MES integration, test data collection, and data analysis systems.
• •Familiarity with PLCs, industrial PCs, test system integration, and machine vision inspection systems.
• •Experience in smart manufacturing or automated production line projects is highly desirable.
