Pega Test Engineer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for PEGA applications.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and end-to-end testing.

Validate PEGA case management workflows, business rules, decision tables, and process automations.

Test PEGA applications built on:

PEGA Customer Service

PEGA Customer Decision Hub (CDH)

PEGA Sales Automation

PEGA Marketing

PEGA BPM Solutions

Validate integrations with external applications, APIs, databases, and third-party systems.

Perform API and web service testing for REST and SOAP integrations.

Execute data validation and migration testing activities.

Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

Collaborate with PEGA developers, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders.

Support user acceptance testing and production release validation.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and quality assurance initiatives.

Additional responsibilities

Knowledge of PEGA application architecture and business process management concepts.

Experience validating assignments, stages, SLA rules, routing logic, and case processing.

Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.

Strong understanding of STLC, defect management, and QA methodologies.

Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.

Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.

Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
