We identify over 15 billion calls daily, helping users avoid spam and scams

We are powered by a team of 400+ employees from 45+ nationalities

We stay collaborative and focused, always searching for smarter paths forward. If you want to make an impact and grow with a team that inspires millions, you’ll fit right in.

The role:

As our People Operations Specialist, you’ll run the core of how People Ops works day to day: compensation and benefits, compliance, HR systems, and employee experience. You’ll keep employee records accurate, make payroll and systems run smoothly, and be the first point of contact for employees and leaders with people-related questions.

What you'll do:

Onboarding, offboarding and the employee lifecycle

Own pre-boarding, onboarding and offboarding in our HRIS, including employment contracts and background checks

Handle all documentation and system updates for promotions, transfers, org changes and other employment updates

Compensation and benefits

Run payroll input for Sweden and Deel/EOR, and act as backup for India payroll

Manage enrollment and de-registration for insurance and pension plans

Set up systems for annual salary reviews, support budget planning, and maintain our salary bands

Coordinate global salary mapping and the annual gender pay gap analysis

Coordinate new Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) launches and manage allocations for existing programs

Be the superuser for our comp tools: HRIS compensation module, LTIP platform, EOR portals, integrations and salary mapping systems

Employee and leadership support

Answer HR questions quickly and well, mainly through our Jira ticketing system

Give leaders first-level guidance on HR policies, processes and common employee relations topics

Global mobility

Be the main contact for international hires relocating to join us, and guide them through the move

Work with our mobility vendor on immigration, work permits, home search and settling-in support

Track work permit expiry dates and start extensions in good time

HR systems, data and documentation

Keep the Employee Handbook and other employee-facing guidelines up to date

Be the superuser for our HR tech stack, including the HRIS and LMS, and keep the data clean

Spot repetitive admin work that can be automated, and use AI where it actually helps

Build people KPIs and reporting for finance, the board and ESG audits

People programs and engagement

Coordinate company-wide people initiatives, especially learning and development programs

Run our quarterly and annual engagement surveys end to end, from setup to analysis to sharing clear insights with management

What you bring in

1+ years of hands-on experience as a People Operations Specialist, HR Coordinator or HR Generalist

A degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Strong structure and a sharp eye for detail

A doer mindset: you’re comfortable making sound operational calls on your own

The ability to prioritize well when things move fast

A mix of creative problem-solving and process discipline, and a habit of looking for ways to make things work better

Fluent English, written and spoken

It would be great if you also have:

Fluent Swedish, written and spoken, for working with Swedish authorities

Practical knowledge of Swedish labor law and employment regulations

Experience with Swedish and international compensation and benefits

Experience with Swedish immigration processes and mobility vendors

Experience in a fast-paced global tech company

What we offer:

We support growth through learning resources, leadership programs, mentoring, and real hands-on work. People can move between teams and projects to build new skills and keep things interesting. We offer clear internal mobility and a transparent path for progression, with leaders who stay involved and provide guidance throughout the year. In addition, you will benefit from:

A comprehensive compensation package: We offer a competitive salary, 30 days of paid vacation, private health insurance, parental leave top-up, pension, and wellness contributions.

Modern tools to do your best work: Choose your preferred computer and phone within our budget, so you can work comfortably and efficiently.

A people-focused office culture: We value in-person collaboration and follow an office-first model, with some flexibility. Our offices offer a vibrant environment with opportunities to learn, connect, and recharge, from breakfast, lunch, and well-stocked snack stations and quiet spaces to team activities such as movie nights, tech meetups, and cultural events. There's something for everyone.

Truecaller’s “Lab Days” offer a space for imagination: 5 times per year for 3 days, where everyone steps away from their normal tasks to explore new, bold ideas and build things they’ve always wanted to. It’s a space where curiosity leads the way, and prototypes take shape. Some concepts even make it into production, and a few have grown into real features used by millions today. Lab Days allow you to be creative, learn fast, and help shape Truecaller's future.
