We’re looking for a People Partner to join our People & Culture (P&C) team at Telia in Norway!

I’m Jannike Grüner , Head of People & Culture Norway , and I’m looking for a curious and motivated colleague to join our People Partner team. We offer a varied and engaging work environment, great colleagues, and a strong professional community.

Could this be your next opportunity?

Do you enjoy working with people and leaders, solving different challenges every day, and learning more about how P&C can support the business? Then this could be a great next step for you.

As a People Partner, you will work closely with leaders across Retail and Customer Service in Norway, supporting them on a broad range of people-related topics. You will get broad exposure to the People & Culture agenda and the opportunity to build your experience in a role that combines HR knowledge with a strong understanding of the business.

You will join a supportive and experienced People & Culture team where we work together, share knowledge, and help each other succeed. You will have experienced People Partners around you to learn from, while also getting the space to take ownership and grow in the role.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid HR foundation who wants to grow into a broader People Partner role while working close with our frontline organization.

What you’ll do

  • Support and advise leaders on day-to-day people and organizational matters

  • Collaborate closely with other People Partners and People & Culture experts to deliver a great employee and manager experience

What will help you thrive in this role

You are curious about both people and business and enjoy working close to leaders and employees in operational environments. You do not need to have done everything already. What matters is that you have a good foundation, are eager to learn and are comfortable taking responsibility.

  • 2–4 years of relevant HR experience , for example as an HR Advisor, HR Consultant, People Partner or similar role
  • Good knowledge of core HR processes and Norwegian employment law
  • Confidence in supporting managers on employee-related matters, including challenging employee relations cases and difficult conversations
  • An interest in working with Retail, Customer Service or other operational/frontline environments
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • A practical and solution-oriented approach, combined with sound judgement
  • The confidence to work independently while knowing when to involve others
  • A genuine interest in developing your business understanding and growing as a People Partner
  • Fluency in Norwegian or other Scandinavian language and English
