Job Summary

The Perioperative Sales Specialist is responsible for driving new business development and competitive conversions within acute care hospitals (L&D, OR, Pre-Op, PACU, and Endoscopy) and ambulatory surgery centers. This role focuses on selling the A-Series anesthesia machines and BeneVision N-Series patient monitoring systems while collaborating with the Enterprise Sales Team (EST) to expand Mindray’s market share. Success in this position requires a strong hunter mentality, excellent relationship-building skills, and a strategic approach to long sales cycles in the capital equipment market.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan focused on competitive conversions and revenue growth.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across assigned hospitals and surgery centers.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and evaluations to position Mindray’s anesthesia and monitoring solutions as the preferred choice.
  • Collaborate daily with cross-functional EST members, including Clinical Specialists, Corporate Accounts, Marketing, Service, and Sales Support teams.
  • Lead post-sale efforts by coordinating installations, in-services, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders — including anesthesiologists, CRNAs, OR directors, and biomedical engineers.
  • Contribute to regional and national strategic initiatives to grow Mindray’s brand and support Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development.
  • Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure focus and alignment with company goals.
  • Optionally serve as a Field Trainer, supporting onboarding and development of new sales hires.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Proven success in capital or medical equipment sales, with a track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Strong cold-calling, pipeline management, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to build trust and navigate complex decision-making processes within hospitals.
  • High energy, strategic thinking, and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and CRM tools.
  • Team-oriented mindset with ability to collaborate across multiple divisions.

Work Environment

Field-based position requiring 50–75% travel, including 2–4 overnights per week. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs of equipment and operate comfortably within hospital environments for extended periods.

Mindray North America offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, disability coverage, FSA/HSA options, and more—all within a dynamic, supportive, and collaborative work environment.
