Description

Staff Pharmacist | Omaha, NE

Full-Time and Part-Time available| $58–$65/hour | 100% Employee-Owned | Monday - Friday 9AM - 5:30PM

Looking for something different from traditional retail pharmacy? Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is a 100% employee-owned, closed-door pharmacy serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs. Our pharmacists work directly with nurses, prescribers and care teams without the retail counter or drive-thru.

You'll still work in a fast-paced pharmacy, but with a collaborative team and more opportunity to use your clinical knowledge and build relationships with the people you serve.

LTC experience is not required. If you're coming from retail, hospital, specialty or another pharmacy setting, we'll teach you our systems and model of care.

The Day-to-Day

  • Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs
  • Provide consultations to nurses, prescribers and other healthcare providers
  • Complete accurate pharmacy data entry
  • Review medication therapies, interactions and clinical concerns
  • Administer a variety of injections
  • Participate in medication review committees as needed
  • Work alongside pharmacists and technicians to keep medications accurate and on time

What Matters Here

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to multitask without sacrificing accuracy, communicate well with providers and enjoy being part of a collaborative pharmacy team.

The Perks

  • $58–$65/hour
  • Full-time or part-time opportunities
  • Daytime pharmacy hours
  • Sundays + major U.S. holidays off
  • 100% employee-owned through our ESOP
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Medical, dental + vision insurance
  • Flexible PTO
  • Company-paid life insurance

Life at Neighborhood

We're a 100% employee-owned pharmacy, which means everyone has a stake in what we're building together. Our teams are collaborative, supportive and made up of people with different strengths and perspectives, including employees with IDD.

We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We help each other out, care about the people we serve and want Neighborhood to be a place where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

Ready to do pharmacy a little differently? We'd love to hear from you. All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen. Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements

The Must-Haves

  • PharmD degree
  • Active Nebraska pharmacist license, or ability to obtain before starting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
