General Job Summary: As a physical therapist assistant with OrthoCincy, you will be responsible for treating patients according to a treatment plan established by the physical therapist on your team. You will also be collaborating with team members to assist patients with a full recovery after surgery or injury.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• •Graduate from an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• •State license to practice as a physical therapist assistant
• •CPR certification

Responsibilities:

• •Understand and adhere to state practice act
• •Maintain state licensure and complete continuing education regularly to stay current on the practice of physical therapy to best serve our patients
• •Treat patients in need of skilled physical therapy services with proper documentation to support medical necessity of treatment under the direction of a licensed PT
• •Facilitate open communication with physicians, co-workers and patients to provide the best comprehensive care possible for the community we serve
• •Participate in chart audits and review of care plans with colleagues to facilitate best practices within our organization
