What You'll Do

Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will:

Provide quality physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care
Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, function and independence
Collaborate with the PT, nursing staff, patients and families
Document patient care accurately and timely
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication
Educate patients, families and facility staff as appropriate
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing/post-acute rehabilitation setting

What We're Looking For

Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to quality patient care
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
