Position Status: Casual Location: George Boyack, Physiotherapy LTC 2nd fl BW Hours: 0.00 FTE: 0.00 Shift: N/A (Casual) Shift Times: 800-1615 Union: HSAA Rate of Pay: $42.51 - $56.60 PCN: 0
Date Competition Closes: August 20, 2026
Position Summary:
- This position is responsible for providing client care through focused assessment, treatment and discharge planning on our rehabilitation and recovery units, and contributing to our resident's quality of life through assessment of appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence on our continuing care units. Other duties may include
- providing clinical supervision to support staff and students.
Responsible for other related duties as required.
Program Summary:
Complex Mental Health Care – a program providing comprehensive care for adults with complex behaviours, whose primary diagnosis includes mental illness, dementia or other cognitive disorders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Physical Therapy.
- Registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta is required.
- AADL authorizer is an asset.
- Experience using physiotherapy in a clinical and/or continuing care setting an asset.
