Job Description

Performs physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Communicates progress to intradepartmental staff and interdepartmental staff. May assist with supervision of PTA students. Maintains equipment and departmental supplies.

Minimum Requirements

• •Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant License
• •Verbal and written communication skills required to discuss and document treatment programs and work issues
• •Physical ability to teach and demonstrate locomotor skills, gross and fine-motor skills.
• •Must maintain certification in BCLS for continued employment.

Preferred

• •Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• •One-year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
