The Role - What You’ll Do

Our Physical Therapy Assistants are key members of the care team, helping patients restore function, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

• •Provide direct physical therapy interventions to support patient recovery and outcomes.
• •Assist with treatment planning, documentation, and communication of patient progress.
• •Collaborate with patients and the care team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
• •Maintain a safe, efficient therapy environment following established protocols.

Qualifications - What We're Looking For

• •🎓 Graduation from accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
• •✅ Current State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant required (prior to starting, a KS licensure will need to be established)
• •❤️ BLS/CPR Certification required
• •🏥 While 1 year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply.

Physical requirements - What you need to know

• •A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
• •Both gross and precise motor functions.
• •Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
• •Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
• •Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
• •Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
• •Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
