Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center- Shreveport are currently seeking a Cognitive Specialist to join our outstanding Academic Neurology department and dynamic team. Must be BC/BE and be eligible for a Louisiana license. Leadership opportunities available to qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Delivering high-quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions.
• •Medical student and Neurology resident education, including supervision in clinics, grand rounds, and didactic conferences.
• •Participation in departmental activities and contributing to the growth of the Dementia program.
• •Mentoring and providing clinical expertise to faculty and residents.
• •Large patient volume potential and leadership potential. Louisiana has the 5th highest Alzheimer’s mortality rate in the US and North Louisiana has a particularly large burden of disease. Potential to be the expert in the field in this region.
