Requirements

What You’ll Do:

• •Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting
• •Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages
• •Procedures to include EKG and X-ray interpretation, abscess incision and drainage, infection management, reduction of dislocations, splinting of minor fractures, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration
• •Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team
• •Communicate test results, follow-up care, and treatment plans
• •Effectively communicate and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers
• •Work with an energetic, highly-trained support team, including many shifts with a scribe

Minimum Qualifications:

• •Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (with pediatric experience) preferred
• •Licensed in state of practice
• •Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D
• •Experience with reading diagnostics studies, including X-rays and EKGs
• •Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care highly preferred
• •ACLS and PALS Certification preferred
