Work Shift

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking BC/BE Trauma Acute Care Surgeons to join our busy, collegial trauma team at Kennestone on a PRN basis.

Level 1 trauma center located in Marietta, just Northwest of Atlanta.

  • Busiest Emergency department in the state.
  • GME surgery residency program and teaching opportunities.
  • Approximately 15% penetrative trauma
  • Seasoned trauma program with large group comprised of 10 physicians, APPs, responsible for covering trauma, surgical critical care for trauma patients and acute care surgery.
  • Opportunity to pick up ICU shifts, Trauma and/or EGS in-house shifts.

Ideal candidates will have trained at level 1 or busy level 2 trauma centers and preferably done a 2 year fellowship program or have experience.
