Pilot Controls Engineer

Role Overview

As a Pilot Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the flight/pilot control system for our eVTOL aircraft. This role requires a strong project management background, technical expertise, and proficiency in supplier management.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute project plans for the flight/pilot control system, defining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, avionics, and software development, to ensure project alignment.

Identify and engage with external suppliers for components related to the pilot control system.

Monitor supplier performance, address any issues promptly, and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.

Oversee the testing and validation activities for the flight/pilot control system.

Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure project success.

Essential Skills

Strong understanding of flight/pilot control systems and their integration into aircraft.

Experience in supplier management and procurement processes.

Experience with certification activities, such as ARP4754/ ARP4761 compliance

Desirable

Experience in human interface design

Understanding of avionics, flight control systems, and relevant aerospace technologies.

Experience in identifying, selecting, and managing external suppliers for aerospace components.

Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture

Working Hours

Flextime or Discretionary labor system

In the case of flextime: No core time

Discretionary Labor System: Specialized Class Deemed working hours per day: 10 hours

Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00（Including 1hour break time）

Overtime Work: Available

Holidays

115 days off per year（Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays（12/29～1/3） / Company designated holidays）

Annual paid leave

Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)

Salary

Estimated Annual Salary: JPY 6,850,000 - JPY 11,000,000

Monthly Salary: JPY 571,000 - JPY 916,000

• •Includes fixed overtime pay for 45 hours, amounting to JPY 197,680 - JPY 331,997
• *Additional overtime pay will be provided for hours exceeding the fixed overtime.
