Role Summary

The PIM Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Product Information Management (PIM) solutions to ensure high-quality, accurate, and consistent product data across digital channels. The role involves data integration, transformation, governance, and optimization of product content to support eCommerce, marketing, and customer experience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design and implement data models, workflows, and integrations within the PIM platform (Akeneo, Informatica P360).
• •Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, cleanse, transform, and synchronize product data from multiple source systems.
• •Define and enforce data quality, governance, validation, and stewardship processes.
• •Develop scalable solutions for product hierarchy, taxonomy, attributes, and catalog management.
• •Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize PIM data processing and integration performance.
• •Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and support product onboarding initiatives.
• •Create technical documentation, data mappings, and integration specifications.

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• •Strong experience with PIM platforms, preferably Akeneo PIM .
• •Experience in data modelling, ETL/ELT development, and data integration.
• •Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (Java, Python, or Node.js).
• •Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and event-driven integrations.
• •Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• •Understanding of product catalog management, taxonomy, and master data management concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or modern data platforms.
• •Knowledge of eCommerce product lifecycle and omnichannel content delivery.
• •Experience with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
