Candidate Requirements:

Intern will conduct an operations efficiency study in our Customer Service/Shipping/Logistics Department. Intern should expect to engage across poultry processing operations.

  • Currently enrolled in an associate, bachelor's or graduate degree program majoring in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, Agriculture or Business- related major.
  • All academic majors encouraged to apply.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Resume Required

What Makes a Successful Intern:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to peers, managers, and senior leaders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data, form hypotheses, and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed to collect data; occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Willingness to build relationships with mentors, peers, and professionals to expand industry knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
